Guidelines
Red Hen Press is not accepting unsolicited material at this time.
General:
All material must be computer
typed and printed out on good-quality white paper.
All submissions must be
available in a computer text file (pc or mac).
Submissions must include a
self-addressed return envelope and sufficient postage to return the manuscript. If you only wish
for acknowledgment of acceptance / rejection of material, include a standard
self-addressed envelope. All other material will be recycled.

Poetry:
60 pages minimum
Poetry
submissions may be single or double-spaced
With the exception of the Benjamin
Saltman Poetry Award, and the
Ruskin Art Club Poetry Award, Red Hen Press
is not accepting any unsolicited poetry at this time.
Solicited / Advertised
material requests: Unless specifically indicated
otherwise in our solicitation, previously published material is acceptable.
Except for contest submissions, the author's name should be shown at the at the
top of each page.
Short fiction / Essays:
3 to 25 pages
Full length manuscripts:
120 to 300 pages
Double-spaced
