Future Red Hen author Rodney Wittwer, whose first collection, Gone & Gone, hits shelves in September, has been awarded an Artist Fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. He was one of only 7 poets chosen to receive the $7500 fellowship.

The awards are judged anonymously, based solely on the artistic quality and creative ability of the work submitted. Congratulations, Rodney!
