Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 –Poetry reading with t’ai freedom ford and others @ The New School, New York, NY, 6:30pm, FREE
Cave Canem, a literary program dedicated to black poetry, and The New School’s Creative Writing department will host Red Hen poet, t’ai freedom ford and others for an evening of poetry. how to get over is ford’s debut collection and is called a “Live/Lie/Love/Die survival guide for survivors of drug wars and hip hop fantasies.”

Friday, November 3rd, 2017 – Ivan Smason and BRENDAN CONSTANTINE Reading @ Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center, Los Angeles, CA, 8:00pm
Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center presents Ivan Smason and Red Hen’s Brendan Constantine for an exciting reading. Constantine is the author of Dementia, My Darling, Calamity Joe, and Letters to Guns. Reception and book signing will follow.

Saturday, November 4th, 2017 – Mandy Kahn Reading @ Skylight Books, Los Angeles, CA, 5:00pm, FREE
Join Mandy Kahn as she reads from her collection of poems, Glenn Gould’s Chair, at Skylight Books! Glenn Gould’s Chair is Kahn’s second book and has been described as an “unabashedly beautiful consideration of the creative life.”

Monday, November 6th, 2017 – ELLEN MEEROPOL and others at ROAR Reading Series @ University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, 7:00pm, FREE
Ellen Meeropol, author of Kinship of Clover, will read at the University of Connecticut’s Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Storrs Center. Other featured guests include Sarah Gillgian who is currently working on a collection of short stories titled The Genius of Connecticut, and Joan Seliger, the author of Bereft and Blessed.
