William Archila (Santa Ana, El Salvador, 1968) is a Salvadoran poet. He emigrated to the United States with his family in 1980. He is an English teacher and holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Oregon. He has published the poetry collections The Art of Exile (Bilingual Review Press, 2009), which received the International Latino Book Award (2010), and The Gravedigger’s Archaeology (Red Hen Press, 2015), winner of the Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize (2013).
