Rent Our Event Space!

Here at Red Hen Press, we have a bit of extra space in our nest and would love to share it with our neighbors!

At our location in Pasadena at 1540 Lincoln Ave,
we have our stage area, conference room, and green room available for rent
any day of the week from 8AM to 10PM.

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm $50/hour* $25/hour
Monday-Friday 5pm-10pm $100/hour $50/hour
Saturday/Sunday 8am-10pm $150/hour $100/hour

*Please note the Stage Area is not private during business hours – Red Hen Staff and interns will be on site and will occasionally enter and exit the Event Space during these hours. The Conference or Green Room can be locked upon request.

Please note that Monday through Friday there is a different rate for the Stage Area between the hours of 9AM-5PM and 5PM-10PM.

There is a flat rate cleaning fee of $25 for the Stage Area, or $10 each for the Conference Room/Green Room.

Stage Area:

Our stage area has hosted everything from string quartets and poetry readings to web series screenings, panels, and theatrical performances. With rotating art shows adorning our walls, and an extremely flexible set-up, the space can lend itself to whatever your event needs may be. Food and drinks are allowed (even alcohol, as long as it’s not for sale!)

Capacity: Up to 120 seated, 200 standing

  • Up to 100 chairs (mismatched)
  • 2 medium-sized round tables
  • 1 large round table
  • 4 large rectangular tables
  • 3 couches
  • Additional mismatched seating available
  • Piano
  • Podium
  • Single microphone and amplifier
  • Speaker system with Bluetooth capabilities
  • Adjustable A/C and heating
  • Projector and screen



Conference Room:

Our Conference Room is the perfect place for hosting board meetings, staff meetings, club meetings, or conference calls. There is also access to the attached private bathroom!

Capacity: Maximum capacity of 12

Amenities:

  • Up to 12 conference-style swivel chairs
  • Large conference desk, plus two smaller desks
  • Conference-style phone
  • Access to private bathroom



Green Room:

Looking for a temporary place to relax or get some work done away from home or the office? Our Green Room is the perfect place! Secluded, private, and quiet, with access to a private bathroom, a microwave, and a mini fridge, the Green Room is the best place to get work done or even just take a nap in the middle of the day!

Please note that though the Green Room’s couch pulls out into a cot, this room is unavailable for overnight stays.

Capacity: Up to 6

Amenities:

  • 1 couch (pulls out into a bed)
  • 1 loveseat
  • 2 lounge chairs
  • 1 coffee table
  • 1 writing desk
  • 1 microwave
  • 1 mini friddge
  • 3 bookcases
  • Access to private bathroom with shower
