LIVE: Black Voices featuring Kathryn H. Ross and Douglas Manuel

Join Red Hen Press author Douglas Manuel and former Red Hen Press intern, now published author Kathryn H. Ross, for a reading and conversation about their experiences growing up as a Black man and a Black woman in the United States. Douglas Manuel’s Testify and Kathryn H. Ross’s Black Was Not a Label highlight the Black experience, and their conversation will shed more light on what it means to be Black in America.

This event will be live broadcasted to Red Hen Press’s Facebook page, YouTube page, and on the fourth header scroll of the front page of their website at redhen.org.

All book sales for this event will be donated to the NAACP Legal and Education Fund to further support efforts to combat racism and anti-Black sentiments in the United States.
