Having Fun with Forms: A Hugo House (Virtual) Workshop with Veronica Golos

All Levels | In this class, we will discuss the dictionary, the bop, the golden shovel, the ghazal, the gacela, found poems, visual poems, and more. We’ll explore how you can change a poem’s form and deepen its content  by doing so. We will explore the back and forth relationship between form and content– Participants will be sent poems with suggested exercises via email before the workshop. We will spend the first session on the packet of poems and the second session will be devoted to your work.
